This book is a collection of diary entries from the personal journal of Deolinda Rodrigues (1939-1967) also known as “Langidila,” an exile and freedom fighter from Angola. The pages here include her concerns about racism and colonialism, as well as the conditions of civil war that she faced. Also, there is a letter from civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. mixed in with letters and photos of remembrance from her loved ones.
